- Unlimited Avenue of unleashing creativity
As video and audio recording equipment become
more and more affortable in the market, it is within
the capacity of schools and educational institutions
to create broadcasting quality news programs and
professional like audio recordings in-house. Such
a facility in school can produce immerse opportunities
for students to unleash their creativity, provide
an avenue for publicity of events in school, revolutionalize
the method of giving announcements, create more ways
of expanding the knowledge of students through video.
Imagine the possibilies: The school principal
could broadcast a video of him ala news program
addressing the school students with video support.
E.g. An announcement of the school tennis team
winning the National Championships can be coupled
up with a video of the team playing during the
competition and lifting up the trophy. A school
event like the Swimming Carnival can be publicized

videos. The school choir or orchestra can enjoy
the ease of recording their works within their
school compound instead of spending huge amount
of money going to recording studios that charge
by the hour. School educational resources such
as listening comprehension exercises can also be
produced instead of relying on outside sources.
The broadcasting studio definitely piqued the
creativity juices of both teachers and students.
The teacher will be able to design his teaching
content using video technology under a professional
broadcast setting. For example a teacher demonstrating
the use of a venier calipers can be filmed down
by the school video team in the studio and get
a copy of the video straight away after the demonstration.
The student can also make use of the studio facilities
to film down certain school projects. The output
video would definitly have an impacting factor
in his presentation.
The sights, sounds, and
interactive media that engage and motivate today’s digital generation
are often missing from the classroom. Video can
truly enhance learning and fun, providing a more
compelling and effective learning environment for
today’s students. The broadcast studio will
give students more ways than ever before to research,
